Waste Management, Inc. operates a land fill in Northwest Harris County at 8205 Fairbanks-N. Houston. The telephone number is (713) 849-2902.

The Fairbanks Land Fill is open from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The cost to dump there is $7.00 per cubic yard.

This is a Type IV site and accepts brush and/or construction- demolition (B&C&D) wastes and rubbish (trash) that are free of putrescible and household waste. Putrescible waste is considered organic wastes, such as garbage, wastewater treatment sludge, and grease trap waste.
